Community Fitness Center at MHS

An affordable opportunity for fitness! The Community Fitness Center is staffed by Rec. Dept. personnel on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3:30 to 7:00 PM, and features circuit training, free weights and cardiovascular workout equipment. The facility is free to Marinette Middle School and High School students as part of an agreement with the School District of Marinette. Other pay $45.00 per quarter for Marinette city residents and $60.00 per quarter for non-residents. Passes are available at the Civic Center, 2000 Alice Lane, Marinette. Fitness passes may also be used for admission to the MHS Pool on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 PM or 7:30-8:30 PM for lap swim or water walking. This quarter runs from October through December. Passes are pro-rated when purchased mid-quarter. Call the Recreation Department at 715-732-5222 for more information.


Indoor Walking/Running

Don't let inclement weather ruin your walking
routine...walk or run indoors.

Indoor walking is available at the Civic Center
Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM,
or whenever tennis players are not utilizing
the courts.

10 1/2 laps around the dome
equal one mile. There is no charge.
as the dome is not heated for walking or running.


Bend & Stretch Exercise

Class features flexibility and floor exercises along with the use of light weights.
Held Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the Duer Gym, 402 Williams St., Marinette.

Fall sessions: September13-October29 and November1- December 20.

There are no classes scheduled on October 11, November 19, November 26 or December22, which are City of Marinette Furlough Days.

Fees per session: Residents $22.00, Non-residents $34.00
